Duties: The Health Occupations Coordinator is a tenure administrator position that reports to the Director and Senior Coordinator of Adult & Continuing Education. Duties include but are not limited to oversight of BOCES Practical Nurse program and other Health Occupation programming. Responsible for recruitment and mentoring of students and staff. Liaison to clinical sites, on-going analysis of curriculum with staff to best prepare nursing students. Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with local hospitals, long-term care facilities, community healthcare providers and other internal and external stakeholders. On-going evaluation of the Practical Nursing program to ensure compliance with NYS Office of Professions Accreditation Standards.

Qualifications: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN); or RN with advanced healthcare/nurse education degree/certification

Term of Employment: Full-time, 12-month
