Madison-Oneida BOCES is certified to offer instruction in the Pyramid Model to early childhood providers, administrators and support personnel. We have the only certified instructor in Madison County and one of three in Oneida County.

What is the Pyramid Model?

The Pyramid Model is a system of strategies to address social-emotional and behavior issues at the early childhood level. This includes infant/toddler and preschool module, and Pyramid also includes a parent module. 

Who can attend the workshops?

Anyone interested in learning new strategies and best practices for addressing challenging behavior in children can attend. This includes: child care center directors and staff, school principals, teachers and teaching assistants, family child care providers, after school care administrators, licensing officials, home visit professionals, trainers and presenters on other early childhood topics, parents, and anyone else who works with young children.
