Section 105 Reminder (if applicable to your employee group)

The Section 105 Plan was established by the BOCES for the purpose of reimbursing prescription co-pay amounts for employees participating in the health plan.

Participating employees may submit claims and the accompanying receipts for prescriptions filled between July 1 and June 30 by August 31, 2018. Claims forms can be obtained from the business office or at this link. Please contact Cheryl Fleming at 361-5513 with questions.



Flex Plan Enrollment

Flex Plan enrollment forms for 2018-19 will be distributed by the beginning of September and are due back to the Business Office by September 21, 2018. 

All claims for the 2017-2018 plan year are due for submission by November 30, 2018. After this run off period, any remaining balance up to $500 for medical accounts only will automatically roll into the new flex plan year for active employees.



Change in Life Status?


If you've had a change in your life status (i.e. marriage, divorce, birth of a child or death of a family member), the Business Office encourages you to be sure to keep your retirement system’s death benefit beneficiaries current. Beneficiary change forms are available under the “Staff” tab on the MOBOCES website.

The same life status changes (marriage, divorce, separation, birth & death) may also affect your health, dental and vision insurance coverage. If you have questions concerning a qualifying event and your coverage, contact Sherri Williams at x5534.

A quarterly newsletter from Omni is now available on the Forms section of our website, under Retirement. Omni is the company MOBOCES uses for 403(b) and 457 plans.
