Cornue Publishes Book

Congrats to Staff Development Specialist Jon Cornue, who released his first book, “Changing the Grade: A Step-by-Step Guide to Grading for Student Growth,” on January 18. The 160-page book builds on Jon’s regional work with area districts on moving from a 100-point grading system to a standards-based grading system. The book is available through the Association for Staff and Curriculum Development (ASCD) website. His SCD family had a party to mark the occasion and invited his wife, son and parents to the celebration.
