Duties: Assist in the development of the treatment plan and the identification and implementation of behavioral rules and consequences.  Monitors, analyzes, and collaborates with teachers, therapists, other mental health staff and students in developing, implementing and monitoring individual student academic and behavioral progress and goals.  Utilizes appropriate interventions designed to help students practice coping skills, achieve academic success and eventually apply for transition back to "home" school.  Evaluates crisis situations and escalated behaviors and provide appropriate interventions and support.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in psychology, sociology, human services, teaching or related field required.  Certification as a school psychologist, school counselor, social workers and/or leadership background and a minimum of two years' experience supporting K-12 age students who exhibit challenging behaviors.  Experience with FBA/BIP assessment, RtI behavior process, consultation, effective communication skills with teachers, administrators, and school districts as required.  CPI certified or eligible for certification.

Location of Position: Madison-Oneida BOCES, Special Programs

Term of Employment: Full Time, 10 Month Position

Salary: Contingent upon education and experience and according to the MO BOCES Teacher Contract.

Starting Date: Immediately
