Duties: Answer phones, maintain digital and physical filing systems, interface with general public, provide assistance to the program on-site Coordinator and other division staff, track multiple projects and other clerical duties as necessary. Must be able to work proficiently in Microsoft Suite including: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Work with custom computer databases also required.

Qualifications: Applicant must have the education and/or experience necessary to meet the qualifying skills for the Civil Service application. For example: possess a two-year degree in secretarial science or related field OR graduation from high school or equivalency and 2 years clerical experience. Excellent organization, telephone and customer service skills necessary. PC experience- Microsoft Office required. Successful candidate must be able to multi-task while working as an integral member of the team. Permanent employment is contingent on passing the Civil Service exam.

Location of Position: OHM BOCES

Term of Employment: 12 Month Position

Salary: Starting at $31,611 depending on background and experience
