Duties: Responsible for instruction (theory and clinical skills) in a full-time Practical Nurse Program following NYS Education Department regulations.  Duties include, but not limited to: curriculum development in collaboration with nursing faculty; coordination of clinical and lab experience; evaluation of program outcomes; evaluation of student performance including developing remediation plans and conducting academic advisement; and engaging in appropriate professional development. 

Successful candidate will be organized, student-centered, demonstrate excellent follow-through and thorough recordkeeping.  The application process includes developing a lesson plan that includes 20 minute lecture and 20 minute hands-on clinical skill instruction.  Candidates called for a second interview will deliver the lesson to a class.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.  Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, MS degree or course work towards MS degree preferred.  Minimum of two years clinical experience.  Current NYS Nursing License.  Current BLS CPR certification (American Heart Association)
