Part of a two-year Engineering sequential pathway, this rigorous first-year program for high school juniors begins the preparation for students to meet college entrance requirements and gives them the foundational tools to successfully complete an engineering degree. The integration of higher level math and physics, combined with relevant industry technology standards, creates an innovative approach to learning that helps prepare students for success in college and beyond. Students study in a dynamic and challenging learning environment to include complex problem solving, project management, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and networking. Project-based learning provides realistic, student-focused education in a fun-filled environment.

Students should demonstrate proficiency in higher level high school math and science courses as a precursor to program success. Juniors who successfully complete Engineering I will apply for priority admission to the New Visions Engineering program for their senior year.
