    Overview

    Culinary Arts students are prepared for hospitality careers in hotels, restaurants, resorts, fast food establishments, the cruise industry, theme parks and other industries. They learn the basics of baking, commercial food preparation, food service, fine dining, restaurant operations, catering, banquet operations and more.

    Students can specialize in baking, commercial food preparation or front-end service. A fully equipped commercial kitchen enables students to practice their skills.

    Seniors also complete an internship at a local restaurant, bakery, hotel or food service facility as preparation for college or employment.
