MOBOCES hosted CTE alumni from four decades at a November 30 breakfast reception in the Rossetti Courtyard. The event was held in celebration of MOBOCES' 50th anniversary.
Alumni mingled with instructors, administrators and board members before hearing from District Superintendent Jackie Starks about some of the changes to CTE that have happened at MOBOCES and across the state over the last few years, including new programs and a new CTE graduation pathway.
"We are really pleased about this because we know that CTE programs are academically rigorous and that CTE training puts students ahead of the pack when they head off to college, the workforce and the military," she said.
Alumni spent much of the morning visiting the programs from which they graduated and speaking with current students about their own paths to success.
