MOBOCES Career and Technical Education (#CTE) programs held a Farmer's Market on Tuesday, May 15th in the Rossetti Courtyard. Students in CBOE, Career Exploration and Conservation have been working very hard to get all the products ready for sale, which included syrup, refreshments, baked good, seed pods, crafts, plant stakes and bird houses.

Coined “Operation Collaboration” staff are engaged in an initiative designed to increase cross-program work. Classes will complete their designated projects during the remainder of the school year. Collaborative ideas include Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts developing a unit on nutrition; Manufacturing Technology and IT Systems completing a green energy project; and Engineering, Conservation and Carpentry studying wetland mitigation efforts. After the projects are completed, staff will complete a reflection outlining the effectiveness of the collaboration and ideas for moving forward.

Please note: Because of the rain, outdoor plants (potted, bowls) will be on sale Wednesday, May 16th outside the greenhouse from  9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
