Special Education Programs

The Special Education Division provides programs and services to meet the needs of an academically diverse population. In providing educational programs to students, the division respects the strengths and abilities of all students and embraces those strengths as pathways to success. Students are presented with academically challenging curricula and are engaged in learning that has meaning and application to their lives both inside and outside of school. High expectations, individualized student plans, varied teaching strategies, and meaningful learning in collaborative settings insure that all students reach their potential.
