Foundations of CTE 10

Foundations of CTE 10

Foundations of CTE 10 is a one-year program with a skilled trades focus aimed at helping sophomore students who need a more hands-on approach to learning. Students complete projects, learn how to keep themselves safe in the work environment, and experience academic learning in a new context.

The curriculum provides students with a unique opportunity to build employability skills needed to apply for, obtain, and maintain a job. Their laboratory/shop space helps them relate what they learn in class to real-world projects, and in-house internships culminate the learning experience so that students can more readily transition into a specialized program for their junior and senior years.
