Carpentry NEW

Carpentry

Carpentry prepares students for careers in building construction. Students learn to plan, design, estimate, and build residential structures. Class time is spent learning the fundamental principles and concepts used in a variety of skilled trades careers. A fully-equipped classroom lab provides students with opportunities to build structures and practice their skills, and they apply their technical knowledge to real-world projects on campus and in the community. Students also learn basic algebra and trigonometry, essential for designing and building.
