Duties:

 0.5 PROPEL Instructor

Provides college level instruction to secondary students enrolled in the Engineering pathway of the PROPEL Program. Responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing student learning activities. Must have solid content/standards knowledge and/or experience teaching. Teacher will be required to teach as an adjunct for MVCC Engineering courses.

0.5 New Visions- Griffiss

Instruct seniors in the area of Engineering following the New Visions Engineering Curriculum. Oversee the students and collaborate with mentors at Griffiss Institute to ensure internship success.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering AND Master's degree in physics/related field or relevant work experience

Location of Position:  MVCC Rome Campus/ Griffiss Institute

Term of Employment:  Full-time 10-month position

Salary:  Contingent upon experience and education according to Teachers’ Contract.

Starting Date:  September 2025
