Teacher - Community-Based Occupational Education (CBOE)
Duties: Responsible for planning instruction and assessment of students with disabilities who are enrolled in an occupational education program designed to develop life skills, work skills, and academic skills supporting transition to the world of work. The primary focus of the CBOE program is to prepare students for various supported and independent worksite options they may pursue as adults, as well as life after graduation. Students are assisted by Teacher Aides in varying capabilities, requiring coordination of these support personnel as well. The teacher will also be responsible to coordinate with therapists, counselors, etc. Candidates should have or be eligible for certification in Special Education.
Qualifications: New York State Education Department teacher certification in Special Education (7-12) preferred.
Location of Position: Madison-Oneida BOCES - Rossetti Education Center, Verona, New York
Term of Employment: 10-month full-time position
Salary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teacher’s Contract.
Starting Date: September 1, 2025
