Duties:  Provide supervision and instruction to adult students in the Dental Assistant 130 hour program. Topics covered may include dental anatomy and physiology, infection control in the dental environment, basic life support for health care professionals, responding to office emergencies, chair side procedures, and employment seeking skills. Assist students with setting up Dental office observations.

Qualifications:  Preferred candidates would be Dental Assistants or Hygienists with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Teaching and customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills a plus.  Pre-employment background check required.

Location of Position:  BOCES Consortium of Continuing Education, Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES - Adult Education Program, New Hartford, NY

Term of Employment:  Part-time (Evenings), no benefits

Salary:  $30/hour

Starting Date:  Fall 2025
