Principal Clerk - Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction Office
Duties: Types/develops letters, reports and other materials on a PC. Makes complex file searches. Answers telephone and acts as the main contact for the Assistant Superintendent’s office, keeping his calendar, etc. Excellent communication, problem solving and customer service skills necessary. Must be able to track multiple projects and deadlines. Technology experience required with expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database management, document retrieval. Must be able to work in a team environment but also independently, as needed, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Other as assigned. Confidential position.
Qualifications: Two year degree in secretarial science or related field OR graduation from high school or equivalency and 2 years clerical experience which shall have involved typing. Civil Service position subject to exam.
Location of Position: Verona-District Offices Building
Term of Employment: 12 Month Position, Non-Negotiating Support
Salary: Commensurate with background and experience
Starting Date: Immediately
