Duties:  The Mohawk Regional Information Center (MORIC) is seeking an online learning instructor with New York State Mathematics (grades 7-12) certification and experience in differentiated instruction. This role involves delivering daily synchronous online learning to students enrolled in our virtual learning & tutoring services during regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent, high-quality online instruction in virtual environments.
• Build strong relationships with students, caregivers, and home school districts.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and progress-monitoring skills.

The MORIC offers school districts a range of online courses taught by NYS-certified teachers. These interactive online courses offer students individualized learning opportunities when they are unable to participate in a traditional in-person setting.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in an education-related field, NYS Mathematics (grades 7-12) certification required, experience teaching in an online/virtual environment is preferred.

Term of Employment:  Full-time

Salary:  Based on experience
