Secondary Coordinator
Duties: This is a full-time administrative position in Secondary division at Madison-Oneida BOCES. The successful candidate will provide support and oversight to students enrolled in Secondary program, CTE, special education and alternative education. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: participation in program innovation planning; data interpretation and collection; CTE Program Approval and Re-Approval processes; student disciplinary issues; collaboration with district level school counselors; participation in planning secondary events as assigned; and supervision and guidance to instructional staff.
The candidate will also assist the Director and Principal in areas such as: departmental planning, student achievement, community collaboration and supervision of programs/staff as needed.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of education laws and regulation; experience or knowledge of CTE, special education and/or alternative education programming, expertise in program development and supervision; effective instructional practices; and effective communication skills. The Coordinator will report directly to the Secondary Director and Principals. 4-year Probationary Appointment; Tenure Area: Secondary Coordinator
Qualifications: New York State Certification as an SBL, SDL, SDA, or SAS or able to obtain. Qualified Administrative Interns will also be considered.

Term of Employment: Full-time, 12 month position
