Duties:  Responsible for instruction (theory and clinical skills) in a full-time Practical Nurse Program following NYS Education Department regulations.  Duties include, but not limited to: curriculum development in collaboration with nursing faculty; coordination of clinical and lab experience; evaluation of program outcomes; evaluation of student performance including developing remediation plans and conducting academic advisement; and engaging in appropriate professional development.

Successful candidate will be organized, student-centered, demonstrate excellent communication skills and follow-through as well as thorough recordkeeping.

Qualifications: 

· Graduate of an accredited nursing program

· Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, MS degree or course work towards MS degree preferred

· Minimum of two years clinical experience

· Current NYS Nursing License

· Current BLS CPR certification (American Heart Association)
