Duties:  The Mohawk Regional Information Center (MORIC) is seeking a New York State-certified online learning instructor with experience in differentiated instruction to provide virtual tutoring services to students during regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver daily, high-quality synchronous online tutoring in a virtual environment.

· Provide personalized, targeted instruction to meet individual student needs.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with students, caregivers, and home school      districts to support student success.

· Demonstrate effective communication, organization, and progress-monitoring skills to track and enhance student learning outcomes.

The MORIC partners with school districts to offer virtual tutoring services led by NYS-certified teachers. These interactive, one-on-one or small-group sessions ensure students receive personalized learning support when in-person instruction is not an option.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in an education-related field, NYS certification required, experience teaching in an online/virtual environment is preferred.

Location of Position:  Mohawk Regional Information Center

Term of Employment:  Part-time (16.5-hours/week)

Salary:  Based on experience
