Teacher - Welding
Duties: To provide instruction aligned with the American Welding Society (AWS) to secondary students in Career and Technical Education. Welding program prepares students in 11th and 12th grade for postsecondary education, industry certification, and entry-level employment in welding and related skilled trades. The instructor is also expected to replicate a business model to prepare students for transition into the industry.
Qualifications: New York State Certification in Vocational-Technical Education or eligibility for transitional certification with high school diploma and four years full time experience in the trade area.
Location: MVCC- Rome Campus/Madison-Oneida BOCES, Verona, New York
Term of Employment: Full-time - 10-month position
Salary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teacher’s Contract.
