Co-Director of Mid-State Teacher Center
Duties:

Oversee the daily operations and administration of the Teacher Center, ensuring programs and activities align with the Center's mission and Policy Board direction.

Coordinate Policy Board meetings, maintains governance records, supports board members, and ensures compliance with Open Meetings Law and Robert's Rules of Order.

Manage communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including the LEA, NYSED, BOCES, higher education partners, educators, and statewide Teacher Center networks.

Oversee fiscal management by coordinating budgets, grant administration, expenditures, and financial reporting in partnership with the LEA and Policy Board.

Plan, promote, and evaluate professional learning opportunities by conducting needs assessments, monitoring program effectiveness, and staying current on educational trends and state mandates.

Supervise professional learning providers and support staff while coordinating the NYS grant application process.

Deliver professional learning services, including facilitating training, coaching educators and facilitators, supporting program development, leading Reflective Seminars for Utica University participants, and participating in train-the-trainer initiatives.
Qualifications: Must have relevant experience and hold NYS certification as an administrator or teacher.

Term of Employment: Permanent Position
Salary: $300 per day for a minimum of 35 days during 2026-27 school year; increases by number of days worked thereafter
