On June 11, 51 seniors from the MOBOCES Career and Technical Education programs were recognized during the 2025 Senior CTE Awards Ceremony, held in the Rossetti Courtyard. The event began with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Edward Geer, SkillsUSA Chapter President and HVAC student from the Chittenango Central School District.

“Celebrating the success and accomplishments of our students is at the heart of everything we do in CTE,” said Career and Financial Management teacher Rachel Helmer. “It’s incredibly inspiring to witness the strong support we receive from our industry and community partners, as well as our component districts. We hope every student knows just how proud we are of them. Congratulations to each of our award winners!”

This year’s ceremony also marked the introduction of several new scholarships, including the Oneida Health Foundation Scholarships, the Dr. Patrick J. Curtin Memorial Scholarships, and the Sconondoa-Sherrill Masonic Lodge #814 Community Service Scholarship.

Thank you to our local and school leaders who joined us in celebrating these accomplishments. These exceptional students represent all nine of our component districts, as well as Chittenango.

Thanks to the generosity of our campus community and partners throughout the region, we presented 26 awards totaling $16,000!
