A Message from the Board President & District Superintendent
When New York State created BOCES more than 70 years ago, they were set up to be connectors, liaisons between school districts and the state. That is a role we take to heart. And all these years later, with school districts facing financial uncertainties, policy changes, leadership transitions, and programming shifts, we believe those regional connections are more important than ever.
Throughout our 2025-26 Annual Report, you’ll see the results of both new and ongoing community partnerships that our teams have helped foster with local nonprofits, businesses, colleges, industry associations, government offices and, most importantly, our school district colleagues. These partners are vital to our mission of providing unique, hands-on learning experiences for students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to help them become successful after leaving our programs.
Our partnerships reflect a shared purpose to build on our strengths, support our neighbors, and increase our collective opportunities. On behalf of the Madison-Oneida Board of Cooperative Educational Services, we want to thank you for standing with us in this pursuit.
