Duties: Provide classroom assistance to teachers in an alternative and/or special education setting for students with disabilities and students who have difficulty managing behavior in a typical school.  Participate in school efforts to improve school climate.

Qualifications: Must possess or qualify for Teaching Assistant License. Experience working with students with behavioral difficulties.  Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training preferred.

Location:  Verona, NY

Term of Employment:  Up to 10 months

Salary:  $34,658 (Starting salary is based on the minimum step of the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teachers’ Contract. Salary may increase based on verified education and prior experience in accordance with the contract.)

Starting Date:  Immediately
