Itinerant School Social Worker or Counselor

Duties:  The Social Worker or Counselor will work with students and their families within the assigned programs.  Individuals should have experience in planning and implementing an integrated model of support for students and families, IEP counseling and any additional activities in support of the programs as outlined by the Director. Looking for someone to work with the students on managing behaviors, feelings and teaching them strategies to be successful in the school setting.

Qualifications:  New York State Certification required

Location of Position:  Oneida, NY     Oneida CSD (Primary building) Grade level: Pk-1

Term of Employment:  Two days a week (40%) – 10-month

Salary:  $26,365.20 - 40% FTE (Full time $65,913)  (Starting salary is based on the minimum step of the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teachers’ Contract. Salary may increase based on verified education and prior experience in accordance with the contract.)
