Kasey Riggall completed the two-year Early Childhood Education program at MOBOCES during high school. A Morrisville-Eaton graduate, she had the opportunity to complete internships at Oneida Day Care, J.D. George Elementary School in Verona, and her own elementary school, E.R. Andrews in Morrisville.

After high school, she completed business coursework at SUNY Morrisville before returning to MOBOCES four years ago! She now works as an elementary special education teacher aide, helping students with academic, social and behavioral skills. She also works as a home health aide, helping community members complete daily tasks.

Kasey said her two roles use many of the same skills and allow her to support people’s individual needs. “The hands-on learning helped a lot,” she said.
