Students returned to classes at MOBOCES on Thursday, ready to kick off the 2024-25 school year!
Staff waited outside of buildings on the main Verona campus to welcome middle and high school students with hugs, high fives and our customary sidewalk dance party.
Elementary staff bustled outside of our newest program site, North Broad Elementary School in Oneida, where K-6 students from across the region will now attend their classes. Teachers, aides, therapists, support staff and administrators greeted students individually as they arrived by bus or with their parents to take them into their new building and new classroom.
While instructional staff greeted students, members of the MOBOCES cafeteria team prepared bagged breakfasts for students to eat in their classrooms, and clerical staff provided general assistance to the building. Our Building Services team continued final classroom and equipment setups for the new year.
