
MOBOCES received three recognitions from The Genesis Group at this year’s Celebration of Education.
- The Work Study program, which is partnering with Upstate Cerebral Palsy to provide new vocational and pre-employment experiences for students through the BASE program.
- Kane Calabro, principal of the Tri Academy and Career Development Academy, for the work he has done in promoting inclusive school environments and leading a regional LGBTQ initiative sponsored by Georgetown University and the NYS Center for Juvenile Justice Reform.
- Board member Suzanne Carvelli was one of this year’s Distinguished Service Honorees for her longtime service to students and schools in the region.
